Features: SharePoint Permission Boost package you can set the column/view permissions so that you can ensure that columns you want to make invisible or read only to certain users. You can also make SharePoint list views invisible or read only to certain users and make invisible/read-only the attachments too. The software provides solution for Column Permission, Batch Permission setting and Permission Workflow. SharePoint default permission scheme does not define permissions on SharePoint columns/list views. By overwriting some control templates, SharePoint Column/View Permission can implement SharePoint column permissions and SharePoint view permissions in lists. Column Permission assigns users/groups read/edit permission to list columns. Permission Batch Setting is useful for modifying all items permissions in a SharePoint list. Permission Workflow Auto assign permission to users/groups or user/group field columns. SharePoint default permission scheme does not define permissions on SharePoint columns/list views. The contents of this column will be hidden to him/her in item display form or edit form; list views which contain SharePoint hidden columns are also invisible to him/her and cannot be selected by him/her in View Select Menu. Users/groups have "no edit" permission to some columns when read only is set. The contents of this column then cannot be edited by any user in that group. These columns cannot be switched to data sheet view or edited in MS Access. Menu items in the actions menu gets disabled.
Overall: Simple to use application adds some useful functionality to SharePoint.
